Key Responsibilities:
Data Managers play an essential role at IMDb - ensuring that the Database Content, from which our Consumer, Professional and Mobile experiences are built from, is complete and correct.
This position requires a creative, entrepreneurial, and analytically oriented person who enjoys being involved with large, complex content workflows and can innovate on them; an individual who is self-motivated, and can keep momentum going consistently.
A demonstrated ability to build, develop and manage valuable long standing relationships with customers (both internal and external) is crucial. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through.
The ideal candidate will be highly goal-oriented and focused on delivering the right results.

Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience of content managements systems.
- Knowledgeable about software development processes and with database and web technologies.
- An excellent systems-thinker who loves improving workflow and technology systems inside organizations.
- Prior experience of user generated content sites, to include insights into the motivations of contributor communities and how to better support and engage them.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Superlative attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience of Linux beneficial, but not essential.
