Going back 250 years

Independent
This work has been organized under the auspices of the non-profit Novim Group, and is independent of the other three groups that do surface temperature analysis.
Transparent
We are trying to lower the barriers to entry into climate science. Not only have we posted our draft papers online, but we have also posted our data and our analysis code to provide an open platform for further analysis.
Complete
The Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature study is using over 36,000 unique stations, which is about five times more than any other group. You can look up temperature records by country, state, or city.
