Well, yes and no
The question isn't whether Kerry would have a different Iraq policy than Bush today, but rather would Kerry have lied to the nation and gotten us into this mess in the first place.

Thompson is refusing to make public or give congressional Democrats the Bush administration's estimates of the cost of last year's Medicare legislation....
