I don't believe for a moment that there is not widespread panic in the Bush camp. He is looking more and more like his daddy every day.

"President George W. Bush's approval rating fell to 42 percent, the lowest since his election, amid dwindling support for his handling of the war in Iraq, the Financial Times reported, citing New York-based pollster Zogby International." - FT

Another banking scandal with another Bush

What is it about the Bush family, suspicious business dealings with the Saudis and troubled banks? It goes without saying that Uncle Jonathan was a Bush Pioneer in 2000. Any they wonder why people do not trust them.

"...President Bush's uncle, Jonathan J. Bush, is a top executive at Riggs Bank, which this week agreed to pay a record $25 million in civil fines for violations of law intended to thwart money laundering." - Washington Post

Bush trying again to connect Saddam and AQ

Desperate to pistol whip the American public into buying his nonsense, Bush is dredging up the al Qaeda connection again. Sorry, the country is no longer buying what you're selling so you are going to have to come up with something better than that.

"President Bush on Friday blamed al Qaeda supporter Abu Musab al-Zarqawi for beheading American Nicholas Berg and cited him as an example of Saddam Hussein's "terrorist ties" before the U.S.-led war in Iraq ..." - Reuters

Women voters not supporting Bush, looking for change

The gender gap continues to expand and President Frat Boy is getting nervous. He's so nervous that he's actually allowing his wife to be more public in his new ads. How gallant. He misses the point that more and more women are able to identify with Hillary and her modern lifestyle than they can relate to a homebody like Laura Bush. Keep bashing Hillary and keep up the macho talk and let's see that divide really open up.

"Women are the crown jewel of the electorate. It's their vote margin that could elect John Kerry just as it did Bill Clinton. In 1996, Republican Bob Dole beat Clinton among men by a single percentage point; women voted overwhelmingly for Clinton. The wave of prison-abuse photos made public over the last two weeks confirms the doubts women have about Bush's policy in Iraq. But Bush was falling behind among women even before the graphic images hit the airwaves.

Surveys taken in March showed women disapproving of Bush's job performance by 47 percent to 39 percent, while men approved 54 percent to 38 percent." - MSNBC

Progressives win, knuckle-draggers back to their cave. The US Supreme Court refuses to step in and Scalia grumbles again. What's the matter Antonin? No hunting trips with Cheney this weekend? Is that why you're so moody? - AP Read the rest of this post...
