The watch was a very important clue. Kudos to whomever of you noticed it first a few days ago.

Here's another new photo of it you haven't seen before:

BIG Gannon story coming tomorrow

View Comments | Reddit | Tumblr | Digg | FARK
I'm wrapping it up now. It's big. Very big. I've just contacted him for comment. If he now decides to go public to pre-empt my story, well, you heard it here first. Stay tuned.

PS Just so the bad guys out there know, several of my friends already have copies of my files. I'm just saying... Read the rest of this post...

Techies, I need some help on Gannon research

View Comments | Reddit | Tumblr | Digg | FARK
I have a Web site that used to be live and no longer is. The domain for the site was registered 4 or so years ago, WhoIs Source only shows the registration for the past 4 days (as if the domain were just bought a few days ago). I know for a fact the domain and site was live four years ago, it isn't now. I bought the premium package on WhoIs source, and for this domain it does NOT show the history prior to 4 days ago. And I know how to search for the history on WhoIs source, I've done it successfully before. How can we pull up the history of who registered this URL four years ago? Read the rest of this post...

A question

View Comments | Reddit | Tumblr | Digg | FARK
Read what Jeff Jarvis has to say, then I have a question:
The blog angle: A few issues here. First, it's hard to insist that "Gannon" as a partisan should not be allowed into a press conference when we opinionated bloggers -- including the activist advocate, Kos, who led the charge on "Gannon" -- are also demanding access. Second, by going after Gannon's personal issues -- his made-up name, his hinky past, made all the easier because he comes off like an intense jerk -- the bloggers lost focus on the real issue (above) and shifted the focus to themselves, getting them portrayed as a lynch mob. That, again, is perilous.
Now I have a hypothetical. If it were proven that Gannon actually is/was a male hustler - again, this is just a hypothetical - then is this story still about his private life, would that be enough to distinguish him from bloggers like Markos at DailyKos, and would that fact be relevant to the issue of how he got access to the White House, the president and CIA documents? The low down on the trans fat problem

View Comments | Reddit | Tumblr | Digg | FARK
I rarely buy prepared, boxed or canned foods nor do I like fast food so I wasn't really following the trans fat problem but it's pretty revolting. The long and short of it is that it gets you coming and going and strips away any good cholesterol. For the fast food and boxed food industry, changing fats is no small task. Almost all cookies and crackers in boxes currently use trans fats to maintain the consistency. Reading this article won't make you very interested in eating industrial foods that are more science and look than actual food or quality. Read the rest of this post...
