Sometimes viral is just another word for an infection…
…and not something you want to see spread around.

I am stuck on stupid with this one. Instant classic. This could be real damaging for the Obama campaign. I mean the opening line alone - “Hey pretty momma, don’t vote for Obama” SNAP!
It’s a toss up - but i’m still taken every time by the other Hilary in the House vid on youtube.

Can someone please start making a mccain rap??
That guy (Gene Wang) is definitely a McCain or Obama supporter. What else can explain it?
Good lord that’s atrocious.
Best comment on the NYT page:
“This must have been written to appeal to urban youth culture. In 1979. Um… deaf urban children, in 1979.”
PUT A WOMAN IN THE WHITE HOUSE
you got girl
I’m convinced.
I hope this goes viral in a big way. It’s so bad I’m, like, lost for words.
Radiohead may have once said “Anyone Can Play Guitar”, but I can’t recall anyone ever saying “Anyone Can Rap”. And this is why.
Anthony, that’s still my favorite video too (the other hillary in the house). I think I’ve watched it over 10 times now.
I refuse to watch this! I made the mistake of watching the first one,and was transfixed, against my will, the way you would be watching a semi plow into a church bus.
I still have the refrain stuck in my head….
Can’t we get some sort of rating system for campaign songs/videos, so us poor unsuspecting souls don’t spew Coca Cola all over our keyboards?
Today I’m glad I Can’t watch.
This is a bit discouraging. I put out several Obama signs last night around our community (far western north carolina in the mtns..demographics solidly Appalachian).
Less than 12 hours later, 2 of them have already disappeared. None of the other political signs around them were touched. I rather suspected this would happen, but irks me non-the-less.
We’ve still got a long ways to go in this country on certain topics.

I’m totally with you here.
This parody of Gene’s original effort is hilarious - especially since it’s hard to parody something that’s already so ridiculous.

Re: Mark T:
They have just been people who wanted to have their own Obama sign. Teens, especially, do stupid things like that.
I was going to vote for Obama, but now that I’ve seen his videos, I’m totally for Hillary. I had no idea she was a) 4U&Me and b) In The House!
Now I know…
This was bad, but at least it’s better than “Raining McCain.” Now I have to go listen to “I want Barack” to cleanse my brain and then a nice dose of will.i.am.
Thanks. I was at a loss as to what to do for April Fool’s Day this year, but one listen and I quick spammed that .mp3 to everyone I knew.
My email box is overflowing with hate mail now.
I made a video for this masterpiece (I was also the commenter on the NY Times site that said “This must have been written to appeal to urban youth culture. In 1979. Um… deaf urban children, in 1979.”
Check it out!

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at that video.
It’s right up there with Chocolate Rain.
