September 8 - 1-4pm : signing party at KPFT
September 12 - 3-8pm : Signing Party at KPFT
September 13 - Date of Record by which Members and Staff must be Enrolled in order to Receive Ballots
September 13 - 5pm : Submit Nomination Packets(Deadline Extended)
November 6 - Ballots to be Mailed
December 11 - Deadline Ballot Receipt
December 15 - Deadline to Complete Ballot Count and Certify Election Results

Thursday Concerts at Discovery Green
KPFT is co-sponsoring the Green Mountain Energy Thursday Concerts at Discovery Green this fall, featuring FREE concerts showcasing outstanding regional performers at Discovery Green on Thursdays in September and October, starting September 13th and running through October 25th!


This week’s concert features thundering soul and Americana rock and roll on Thursday, September 20! Enjoy Grandfather Child’s genre-bending approach to music and performance and Folk Family Revival’s blend of rock, folk, bluegrass and country music for a unique Texas sound.

Show starts at 6:30. Everyone is welcome. Most street parking is free starting at 6. Bring your picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs, but leave your glass containers and alcohol at home. Rock Out With KPFT Once More

September 21-23 the City of League City’s first-ever Boogie Blues & Brews Festival rolls into town. The event will be located on the grounds of 86-acre Walter Hall Park, in beautiful League City, Texas, 807 Hwy 3 N, League City, TX 77573. Dates & Times: Friday September 21, 6-10 pm; Saturday September 22, Noon-10 pm; Sunday September 23, Noon-6 pm

What is it? It's three fun-filled days of blues, rock, zydeco, and rockabilly. A Children’s Festival within the festival will feature a children’s stage, teen cafe, and a multitude of children activities to keep the excitement meter on high. The festival grounds will include a huge arts and crafts market with shopping and promotional opportunities, fun festival foods in the food court, with specialty food kiosks throughout the park.
