How do I get my mobile app in iTunes?

Unfortunately the apps you can make on our mobile platform do not get ported over into iTunes. You can get the word out about your mobile app with the options available on the "Distribute" section within your mobile app.

What happens when a user (who has successfully placed a shortcut on their phone following your Distribute instructions) synchs the phone with iTunes and/or the Droid app store? Does the shortcut remain on the phone?

Is it impossible to save the mobile app in such as way that it can be submitted to iTunes?

Thanks.

Are we being fooled by this "mobile app" thing. I mean if I can't get it to be USED as an app, what good is it for? It acts just like a web page when i go I click on the link. This is a rip-off . I am paying $25/month for this. I want my money back. This is ridiculous.

Where is the answer ? Why are you people so lax with answering questions ? You want $25 per month, people need to know if its worth it.

If iTunes is set to transfer purchase, it won't delete the saved web app in iTunes. It can't be shared via the Apple store though...

@nxt2zaza - As for this just being a web link, it's more than that. The one that I created for my gaming community has everything from my site plus a twitter feed and youtube feed. If you put time into setting this up properly, and know basic html, can can even add your own section. This is a great little alternative to actually creating an app via the tools provided by apple.

As for sharing the web app - There are other alternatives to iTunes.

- QR Code

- Link

- The even provide the html script to place on the root of your website to offer the web app to anyone that visits your site with a mobile device.

I think you guys are being a little harsh. This site is the first of its kind. There will be bugs and issues. They will be worked out. I have confidence.
