Zenith Japan Boeing 747-8i

Zenith Japan have flown 747s on domestic routes since they came with upper-deck lounges. And despite the new millennium of air travel no longer seeing profitability in sending the Queen of the Skies on short haul errands anymore, Zenith Japan have committed to 16 747-8i jumbo-jets to replace their ageing 747-400 fleet, bringing a new level of comfort on their busiest long-haul routes. So while the runways of Sapporo and Fukuoka will no longer see the familiar majestic shape on approach, this icon will cross oceans for many years to come.
