Nov 15, 2024 · I recently upgraded to an M500 package from M250 and using Ookla speed tests have seen no improvement. So when on M250 the download speed was around the 123Mb/s mark. A speed increase from VM to the Hub 3 would not be expected to produce any download improvement as prior to the upgrade some other (still present) issue is the limiting factor.

Apr 9, 2024 · The download and upload speed is working fine on some sites while others are just painfully slow. Both speedtest are done within 5 minutes. One test site is Swish Fibre while the other is Zen Internet. Both located in London. As you can see one is extremely fast while the other is painfully slow.

Hi. I have VM Broadband, with a speed of 350Mbps which was boosted from 250Mbps with Volt. Up until recently I usually get around 360 or more Mbps, using the Virgin Media speed test on my phone using WiFi, or an app on my TV, also using WiFi. Last night I noticed my speed is being reported at around 250 to 270Mbps on a speed test app on my TV.

WiFi speeds can Be as terribly slow as 2.5mb to 10mb download. Yet doing a speed test using my iPhone right next to the PlayStation I get 225mb download! is there a reason why the virgin wifi box and pod might be limiting speeds to the PS5? any ideas? thanks very much . Dean

HUB 4 = Wi-Fi 5 = 887Mbps connection speed (MIMO 2x2 at 80MHz channel width) = 300 - 600Mbps + real world speed to one device. HUB 5 = Wi-Fi 6 = 2400Mbps connection speed (MIMO 2x2 at 160MHz channel width) = 500 - 1100Mbps + real world speed to one device. The above is best case scenario where your device supports those standards.

Dec 19, 2023 · I’m currently running various speed check tests and I’m beginning to think that Virgin Media is throttling my broadband connection. There’s nothing wrong with the Hub3 - I’ve got it set up to run a mesh network. My tests are run on VM’s side of the connection - so it’s not me that is the problem.

I ran a speed test last night after having issues playing online games and found that while my download speed is normal, my upload speed is 0.1 Mbps. I believe this has been the case since at least Monday evening as I was experiencing issues then too but didn't think to run the speed test at the time. I'm in CF24 if that helps.
