Jun 14, 2020 · I'm not sure if I'm going crazy here or not. I can find 1 stat block for a harpy. The MM one. Now I am sure I've seen variations of harpies around, snow/queen/matriarch etc. For the life of me I can find them anywhere. If anyone has any to hand, or where to find them it'll be greatly appreciated.

Apr 23, 2021 · For low level play- maybe a single Harpy in the crow's nest of a shipwreck. PC's of course must recover something from within the hold. For higher levels- Harpies swarming in a huge tree, (look at images of fruit bats nesting) possibly in the botanic gardens of a major city.

Nov 11, 2017 · An adventurer harpy may be staying in combat much more dangerous or for longer periods than a common harpy, meaning they are risking damage their bodies aren't built for. Also, them being fragile doesn't really match the harpy star block, they have decent strength and constitution, so this paragraph may be a bad suggestion overall.

Nov 8, 2023 · Some start hunting the harpies, trapping them, caging them, etc. For my harpy, the idea was he escaped the hunters traps and wants to release his fellow harpies that were caught. How he'd become less wild, even care to adventure or learn to be 'domesticated' or civalised in any form has me a bit stupped.

May 3, 2022 · Never met a harpy, myself. So, can't say for certain what would appeal to them lol. At a guess, if they act bird-like, they'll probably go for brightly-coloured and/or shiny objects. Jewellery, fancy clothes, polished weapons & armour and useless shiny objects (also probably meat based food items) while leaving behind stuff that adventurers could find very useful...
