Oct 28, 2018 · Vulcan S only needs 87 (RON+MON)/2 and using anything higher won't add any benefit to normal riding operation. However, there's an extra consideration for higher octane during winter storage months - ethanol tends to absorb moisture, and we all know what lovely stuff that does to your fuel system during the winter when you can't regularly warm up the engine.

Mar 27, 2020 · I was going to buy a center lift jack, but I learned that, because of the fact that the Vulcan S uses a Ninja 650 engine, that'll damage the bike. I'm looking into getting one rear wheel stand and one front wheel stand, but I'm hearing stuff about a lot of them not quite fitting my bike?

Mar 2, 2021 · I used to ride Michelin Pilot Road 4's and went through a few of them before they became redundant. I recently had to change the rear again and due to lack of stock from Covid I had to settle for an Angel GT. I've noticed it doesn't grip as good as the Pilot 4's in the wet but still leagues better than the original Dunlops.

My 2016 Vulcan S 650 needs a new front tyre, I have the tyre and intend to take the wheel and tyre into the local shop to get it fitted. First the axle nut size is it 13mm or 14mm, I have a 13mm that seems to fit but found something online that says it's 14mm.
