Overview
Australian science fiction-adventure series Farscape follows modern-day American astronaut John Crichton who is thrown into outer space after an experimental space flight is detoured by a wormhole. On the other side of the wormhole, Crichton is picked up by a rag tag cast of characters running from a seemingly omnipresent military organization, the Peacekeepers, aboard a living ship named Moya. To complicate matters, stranded Peacekeeper Aeryn Sun is also picked up by Moya. The series chronicles the protagonists’ struggles to avoid capture and specifically Crichton’s drive to find a way back to Earth.
