Overview
The slasher movie that started it all, Friday the 13th tells the story of hockey-mask-wearing, machete-wielding maniac Jason Voorhees, as he stalks and kills his prey at a summer camp. We learn that a camper drowned at Camp Crystal Lake leading to it's shut down. Now, over 20 years later, counselors arrive to get the grounds ready for the first round of new campers. A mysterious and kooky local resident tries to warn the new owner about the dangers lurking in the woods. His warnings go unheeded, but as the counselors disappear as Jason begins his grisly string of murders, the owner rethinks his decision to re-open the camp. But by the time he realizes his mistake, it may be too late to save anyone.
