Overview
"Ghostbusters II" returns to the exploits of ghost hunters Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Egon Spengler, Dr. Raymond Stantz and Winston Zeddermore. After a hiatus brought on by the events of the first film, the team of esoteric experts goes back to work when they discover that a river of ectoplasmic slime is about to bear down on New York City, causing chaos. Complicating their attempts to stop the mayhem is the fact that they have been arrested. They must team up, working through their differences to formulate a workable plan, and they'll need some help from friends, particularly love interest Dana Barrett and dorky neighbor Louis Tully. Together, they may be able to save New York City again, but it won't be an easy task.
