For those of you who are new to NaPo, it's become a PFFA tradition to donate a penny for each poem posted during NaPo.

Just a penny! Per poem!

Say this year there were 66 threads (which there are) with 30 poems per thread, that's 1980 poems which works out to only $19.80! Rounded up, that's only $20! You can't even go to a movie and have popcorn and a Big Gulp for that! And you'll be supporting PFFA!

Once again I'm keeping track of the poems on my Nifty NaPo spreadsheet and will post the total number on May 1. Then, you can go here to make a one-time NaPo donation with PayPal. (You can also subscribe and extend your giving past April.)

I am in. It's only when there are glitches, like in 2012 when we were marooned on Facebook for a while, that people realize what a joy this place is during NaPo and how awful it feels when what we took for granted, stops and starts and struggles to breathe and dies -- nearly.

Big thank you to Bela -- I hope you tell us if this is too expensive to run. There may well be rich people here, published poets who sell millions of poetry volumes-- no? Oh, I see.
