Thank you so much Emilio for reading and liking some, appreciate your time.

    Music of Life...

From the tip of your fingers to my face
A song passed into my being,
The rhythm and rhyme of my heart beat
slipped a note. The tunes got jumbled
as two lips hummed love together.
    Cheers !

    Your Naughtiness

The sunset was not the only one
Nor were the flying birds the only ones
The naughty look in your eyes
    Waiting to steal a moment,
Was enough to tell that it was dusk.
    Cheers !

Sorry Moderators.... making up with some poems...

    That Night

    The clouds parted ways
    And the first droplets slithered
    their way into the wetlands.
    Ecstasy raised its face again
    and glared at the sky.

    Love Haiku

    Curling up, high up
Meeting blue eyes and red lips
    Merging sun and rain.
    Cheers !

    Anita,

These last three entries have a quiet charm I am really enjoying.

We are so close to the finish line!

    Cheers,

    Mari.

Losing Myself for the First Time

    Before the storm
    could sweep away
    the happiness of being
    at the peak of intimate romance;
    before the floods washed
    away the clear lines
    of love in abundance;
    before the earthquake shook
    the awakening elation
    of being together forever,
    I crumbled into the arms
of my life to be devoured
    with utmost gentleness
    and affection.

    Pure Love and Nothing Else!

I saw the tears in your eyes and smiled.
I realized the moment of happiness
    worth living for.
I saw the smile on your lips and cried.
I realized the moment of melancholy
    worth dying for.
    Cheers !

I know I'm short of some poems, but at least I reached the finish line... yay!!

    Till Death Do Us Apart!!

    I stood there perplexed!
The splatter of red all over
    Zoomed out my sight
    Into a frantic mode
    Of visionary murders
    All around me,
    With me included.
    A moment ago was when
    The little chatter
    Of the green eyed girl
    Echoed into the wee hours
As she swayed her hips to
    The beat of her heels.
    What zoomed past her
was in the form of a machine
    Hydroplaning her blood
    Like dirt on the dashboard,
    Continuing the jarring music
    Into the roads of oblivion.
    The beauty of the designer
    Was scattered into shards
    Of fabric perhaps for use
As a rag to clean the dirty
    Road done by the brat;
    And the broken heel
    Gored all the spectators
for the price of a life!
    Cheers !

You're definitely not the only one...I know I'm short a couple as well. I agree...congrats on crossing the finish line!! I just enjoyed "Losing Myself for the First Time", particularly the last 4 lines. Good stuff!!
