    kristalynn,

I want to thank you for popping onto my thread so many times. You are awesome for that. I read through all of your stuff and you have a lot of beautiful images here. I am gonna comment on a few.

Casualty closes on just the right thought. I really like this idea. Keeper for sure.
Siblings is just plain sweet and it made me sigh.
Marriage also made me sigh, right after the ironic laugh. Love this one.
What kind of people are we? I am a couch potato some days. Ha! The last image was just right.
The bird made me laugh. I was just telling Jee...we have a bird that just won't hush up on my mornings off!

I say you had a great NaPo, girl! I hope to see you around the joint this year.

    "trying to lift the kite
    with their eyes."

    Nice!

Your image of siblings is lovely. I adore mine... most of the time.

    "The good-natured, optimistic
    cheer."

I love the sense in this that the optimism is sometimes misplaced.

    "Dressing the Dead." Very nice.

"The little relief, the tiny freedom."

    !!!

"I am a grassy hill just outside my house person"

Nice. The whole conceit is clever.

"Because when you are grieving, the inability
    to find the Parmesan cheese
in aisle five, where you thought it was,"

    So true. Too true.

    "his feathers are black,
    and his beak’s bright red
    like a bullseye."

    !!

    "being careful
to get as much as we could
    out of each word."

    !!! Oh, that's brilliant.

"I know the previous owners buried."

    !!

And he vacuums like his mother,
    in neat triangles.

    She’s lived there four years
    and the pictures still frame
    strangers. Her boys’
photos still lay on the dresser.

Oh, I love how you've ended the month. Thanks for letting me read along.
