    The Way of the World

Is the way the ball bounces
the same as the way the cookie crumbles?
    Or does the cookie crumble
because the ball has bounced on it?

Hi Tony: High amusement factor in your first few poems. Cute premise in your first. And I've seen that happen too when my kids were little. Belmont Park sounds like a hoot.

I fear for all the "voices" that we are getting used to. Nice sendup in My Siri.

Reading Tokyo/to was fun. The mirroring pattern of the diamond was clever.

The Thirteenth Monkey asks the question, who is the monkey? Nice contrast connection to the Siri poem.

I was hoping you'd do a space poem, and I wasn't disappointed with Musings. Superclusters are beyond imagining, and then you see a diagram, and then maybe it isn't. The use of the subway and the underground works so well in contrast to the beyond. You literally brought it home.

Funny stuff, Tony. I'll be mulling cookie metaphysics all day. I'm noticing a bit of an AI NaPo theme emerging - the new cat?

I find reading your three poems to be comfortable.
I'm not sure if that is a good thing, nor if it is about the poems,
    or me.
    - liked the image of orangutans jockeying raptors
and Cookie Monster calling the shots.
    Here's an image for you:

Anyway, you have made a decent, if somewhat painless start.
I will return when the bloodletting and hair-tearing begins, see
how you're doing then, maybe before.
    A final thought:
C'est le chemin la gallette desagreger!
