    Bliss

    It was sheer ecstasy
to hold the bundle of joy
in the cresses of my arms
    caressing the little hair.
    After the pain-filled
    night, and day of sleepiness,
    the Euphoria of the new
    creation resting in peace
    was the 'nirvana'
    I was searching for!
    Cheers !

    You

    So much for the little
    sense of belongingness
    of your arms
    that I was
    a part of eons ago.
    Those eyes stroked
    me to adore you
    more than ever before.

    The floods washed away
    the album with you
    in all its pages.
    Cheers !

I can relate to that "nirvana" of holding a newborn child. Nice to read you, Anita!

Anita, I like your newborn nirvana. little hair makes a nice unexpected focus.

The loss at the end of You is sad indeed. Some things are irreplaceable.

    Looking forward to more.

heya Anita! I think Bliss does a decent job of capturing the emotional side of birth. You is a good start, but a wee bit too ambiguous. I think there's loss, N's parent, but also there was distance between them - not sure. That's what I mean by ambiguous, but the bones are there. welcome back to Napo!

    Time

    The ticktock of the clock
    took me into a realm
    of memories of hours
    passed by. It seemed
like an era or a decade
    since I saw you.
    An eternity since
    I touched you. But,
    the slow ticking
    in the silence
    of my mind put love
    in an infinity loop
    transporting me
    into a period;
    when 'you' and 'me'
    were 'us' in a moment
    of forever entity.
    Cheers !
