    Aarrgghh!!

After a 3-year NaPo hiatus, I'm going to be returning to the idea of the "Small Songs" that I originally began during NaPo 2007 (although I consider the lunes I've been writing for the past couple of years as simply a specific form of "Small Song" more limited than most); for that reason and to remind myself of my intentions in the "Small Songs," I'm linking this thread to the original introduction to them in my NaPo 2007 thread. The part about being unsure whether I will be able to complete the month applies now, too.

    "Small Songs" 2020:

    4/1: "Small Song: Sheltered"
    4/2: "Small Song: Walk"
    4/3: "Small Song: Snack"
    4/4: "Small Song: Succession"
    4/5: "Small Song: Bouquet"
    4/6: "Small Song: Followed"
    4/7: "Small Song: Glimpse"
    4/8: "SmallSong: Fuliginous"
    4/9: "Small Song: Playlist"
    4/10: "Small Song: Transmutation"
    4/11: "Small Song: Sundered"
    4/12: "Small Song: Weathering"
    4/13: "Small Song: Plop!"
    4/14: "Small Song: Speculation"
    4/15: "Small Song: Nightlight"
    4/16: "Small Song: Pond"
    4/17: "Small Song: Appetizer"
    4/18: "Small Song: Aria"
    4/19: "Small Song: Assurgency"
    4/20: "Small Song: Endurance"
    4/21: "Small Song: Purpose"
    4/22: "Small Song: Flotation"
    4/23: "Small Song: Braille"
    4/24: "Small Song: Contrapuntal"
    4/25: "Small Song: Coda"
    4/26: "Small Song: Neighborhood"
    4/27: "Small Song: Compline"
    4/28: "Small Song: Endowment"
    4/29: "Small Song: Tally"
    4/30: "Small Song: Vestiges"

If you continue straight from Sevens, I wonder if I should get hungry in anticipation.

Thanks, lauriene. And no, Brian, food lunes are not on the menu, at least not for now; ideally, something other than lunes (with or without food) will appear. Somehow.

You keep good company. I like that there are multiple spellings of Argh. A slippery little word. And sometimes exclamation marks are there, and sometimes they're not. And I like that there's a pirate arghh and a non-pirate aargh. How many words can you say that about, I wonder. (I may be reading too much into your thread title).

Either way, I'm sorry about the lunes (I like the lunes - I'm cooking one tonight - the green beans again) but also looking forward to reading you this month.

Nope, no lunes. That's pretty much all I've written for a couple of years, so it's time for something Monty Pythonishly completely different. If I only knew what . . . .
