Buttery Velvet Cut-outs

- 2 C.butter (softened) shopping list
- 8 oz. cream cheese, (softened) shopping list
- 2 C. sugar shopping list
- 2 egg Yoks (beaten) shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 4 1/2 C. flour shopping list
How to make it
- Blend together butter and cream cheese; add sugar, egg yolks and vanilla.
- Gradually add flour.
- Chill for 2 hours.
- Roll out on a floured surface to 1/4" thickness. Use your favorite cookie cutters to create your cookie shapes
- Place on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. ( I usually start to check at 9 mins)
- Let cool completely before frosting.
