Ingredients
- Ingredients for the Cake: shopping list
- 1 egg yolk shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 pound soft butter shopping list
- 5 tablespoons milk shopping list
- Ingredients for the Apple Filling: shopping list
- 8 peeled and sliced apples shopping list
- 3/4 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- Ingredients for Crumb Topping: shopping list
- 1/4 pound soft butter shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Methods/steps
- For the Cake:
- In bowl, cream the butter, sugar and egg. Add the dry ingredients and add milk. Mix well. Grease a square baking pan.
- Spread this dough to cover the bottom of the pan.
- For the Filling:
- Mix all together in a bowl. Now, spread this mixture over the dough in the pan.
- For the Topping:
- Mix the crumb topping ingredients, and
- spread over the apples in the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar when cooled.
