Sweet And Spicy Thai Dipping Sauce

- 1/2 cup vinegar white or cider shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 - 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons red pepper flakes (can use fresh hot chile if you prefer shopping list
How to make it
- Bring vinegar to a boil in a small saucepan. Add sugar and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mash minced garlic and salt together into a paste. Add red pepper flakes and combine well.
- Add mixture to vinegar and mix. Allow to cool and put into jar or other container and refrigerate.
- Will keep in refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Serve at room temperature.
