Garlic Chicken Lasagna

- 1 package lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions shopping list
- 1.5 to 2 pounds boneless chicken breast sliced thin shopping list
- 5 to 6 cloves garlic, sliced thin shopping list
- 6 tablespoons butter shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 3 cups shredded parmesan cheese shopping list
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups half and half shopping list
- 3 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 3 tablespoons flour shopping list
- dash garlic salt shopping list
- dash cracked pepper shopping list
- dash onion salt shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat a couple teaspoons olive oil over med heat.
- Add chicken and garlic and saute over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Stir in the butter
- Stir in chicken broth and bring to a low boil.
- Whisk together the flour and water in a small bowl,add to chicken.
- Stir in sour cream and half and half, lower heat and cook a couple of minutes over med/low heat
- Season with garlic salt, onion salt, pepper and salt.
- Stir in 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese
- Sprinkle in parsley.
- Spoon a little of the mixture on the bottom of a large casserole dish or lasagna baking dish
- Place three noodles on top of sauce.
- Spoon 1/5 of the mixture over noodles.
- Top with 1/3 of the Cheddar cheese
- Top with another layer of noodles
- Spoon 1/5 of the mixture over the noodles
- Top with 1/3 of the Parmesan cheese
- Continue layering alternating cheeses
- Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned and all cheese is melted.
