Saucy Baked Beans

- 3 (19 ounce) cans navy beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1 onion, peeled and chopped shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 2 stalks celery, diced shopping list
- 1 carrot, diced shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 cup tomato juice (I used V8) shopping list
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar (I used dark brown sugar) shopping list
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in crock-pot. Cover and cook on Low until beans are bubbling and have thickened, about 6 hours. Discard bay leaves before serving.
