Easy Creamy Macaroni And Cheese

- 8 oz elbow macaroni cooked, drained, not rinsed, kept hot shopping list
- Cheese Sauce: shopping list
- 2- 3 Tbs butter or qulaity stick margarine shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk ( any kind-even skim ) shopping list
- 1 cup cream shopping list
- 8, oz extra sharp cheddar cut up in small cubes shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
- pinch nutmeg shopping list
- pinch black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- cook macaroni, drain and set aside
- Make sauce:
- Melt fat, stir in flour with a whisk, cook a few minutes
- Slowly add and stir in milk products along with cheese
- Cook and stir over medium heat until smooth and creamy
- Stir in macaroni and season to taste
- Serve
