Blackberry Peach Crisp

- 6 fresh medium sized peaches, pitted and sliced(use great inseason peaches, and there's no need to bother peeling them! :) shopping list
- About 2 cups fresh blackberries(cut extra large berries in half, if desired) shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- about 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1t vanilla shopping list
- about 1/2t fresh grated nutmeg shopping list
For Crisp Topping
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, slightly softened shopping list
- 3 cups oats shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups brown or raw sugar shopping list
- about 1/2t kosher or sea salt shopping list
- 1/2t high quality cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4t fresh grated nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
For Crisp Topping
- Combine all ingredients with 2 forks or fingers until crumbly. Set aside
For Fruit
- Melt butter and honey in medium sauce pan over medium heat.
- Add peaches and berries and carefully stir to coat with melted butter
- Cook about 5 minutes, stirring a couple of times
- Add vanilla and nutmeg and stir to combine.
- Pour fruit into a glass 9X13 pan
- Sprinkle crisp topping over the top.
- Cook in a 350 oven for 30-45 minutes until heated through and topping is golden brown.
- Serve warm with good vanilla ice cream!
