Ham, White Bean, & Spinach Soup

- Ham bone shopping list
- 8 cups water shopping list
- one onion chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic, diced shopping list
- 2 tsp. celery flakes shopping list
- 2 tsp. marjoram shopping list
- 1 tsp. white pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 2 tsp. oregano shopping list
- 2 tsp. basil shopping list
- 2-3 cans cannellini beans (depending how many beans you like) shopping list
- 2 cups baby spinach leaves shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Place ham bone in Dutch oven and add water. Bring to a boil and then simmer until the ham falls off the bone, about 45 minutes. Remove bone to a cutting board and cut large pieces into smaller bite-sized pieces. Return ham pieces to Dutch oven.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, and spices. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add the cans of beans and simmer another 10-15 minutes.
- Add the spinach to the pot and stir. Once the spinach is wilted add the heavy cream.
- Add more seasonings if desired. If a thicker broth is desired, make a slurry of flour and water and stir into the pot to thicken.
