Portuguese Kale Soup

- 2 bunches fresh kale shopping list
- 1 lb stew beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb linguica (as spicy or mild as you like) shopping list
- 4 potatoes (your favorite) I like red! Canned new potatoes work in a pinch, just don't add them til near the end. shopping list
- 3-4 large slice carrots are equivalent of tiny carrots shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- beef bouillan shopping list
- The amounts given are my best guess...the recipe I got from my mom didn't include any specific amounts, only the ingredients! shopping list
How to make it
- Slice linguica and dice stew beef & brown
- Place meat in large stew pot and fill with water & bouillan about 3/4 full
- Add vegetables
- Simmer and stir for at least 2 hours, the longer it cooks, the better it tastes!
- Serve with a rustic bread and enjoy!
