Cherry Kuchen

- Crust: shopping list
- 1/2 cup softened margarine or butter shopping list
- 1 egg yolk shopping list
- 1/4 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1c all purpose flour (unsifted) shopping list
- Custard: shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 #2 can cherries, drained shopping list
How to make it
- Crust:
- Cut margarine/butter into flour until coarse. Add egg yolk and sugar. Blend until dough forms a soft ball. Press into small baking pan. Cover with custard.
- Custard:
- Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla; gently blend in cherries. Pour into dough lined pan. Bake 325 degrees for 1 hour or until set.
