Refrigerator Bran Muffins

- 6 Cups All bran flakes shopping list
- 1 lb. chopped dates shopping list
- 2 Cups boiling water shopping list
- 1 cup butter shopping list
- 1 quart buttermilk shopping list
- 5 Cups flour shopping list
- 1 tsp,. salt shopping list
- 2 Cups of sugar shopping list
- 5 tsp. soda shopping list
- 5 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together the all-bran, dates and boiling water and allow to stand.
- Cream butter, sugar and eggs one at a time
- Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
- Mix remaining ingredients together. Add bran last.
- Bake in muffin tins 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees
- Batter can be kept in the refridgerator up to a month.
- This recipe can be halved.
- NOTE: i omit the dates and add fruit such as bananas, blueberries, saskatoons, etc.
