Turkey Pot Pie

- 1 medium onion chopped shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine (I used parkay) shopping list
- 1/2 c all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 can chicken broth shopping list
- 2/3 c milk shopping list
- 2 cups cooked turkey pieced off leftover turkey shopping list
- 1c shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen mixed veggies thawed shopping list
- 1 box pie crust shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan saute onions in butter.
- Stir in flour, salt, pepper until blended.
- Add broth and milk. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally.
- Add the shredded cheese and stir in well.
- Add veggies and turkey and mix together.
- Pour into 9" pie crust.
- Put top pie shell on top and press seams. Make sure to cut slits in top.
- Bake 375 degrees for 45 mnutes
- Let cool 10-15 minutes to set firmer.
