Slow Cook Venison Roast

- 2-3 lb deer roast shopping list
- 1 Tbl.salt shopping list
- 1 Tbl. pepper shopping list
- 1 Tbl. garlic powder shopping list
- 1 Tbl. onion powder shopping list
- 2 beef bouillon cubes crushed shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced. shopping list
- 1 large onion quartered shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 6 potatoes washed, peeled and quartered shopping list
- 8-10 cups water shopping list
- 1 envelope as sazon (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and beef bouillon cubes and sprinkle over roast. Smother roast with flour and pat to absorb as much flour as you can. Heat skillet and add vegetable oil and brown roast on all sides. Move roast to crock pot. With skillet still hot, add onion and minced garlic till translucent. Stir in 1/4 cup of water and stir, removing all the goodies off the bottom of the pan. Pour over roast in the crock pot. Add potatoes, remaining water and sazon. Cook for 8 hours.

Sounds good! I like the idea of adding sazon. I've started using it in my chili but haven't really considered other uses. Thanks for the idea. Keep the venison recipes coming! 5
