Doooo The Mashed Potato

- 2 Pounds of thin skinned potatoes,cut into chunks shopping list
- 3 fresh garlic,peeled shopping list
- 6 Slices of bacon,cooked,drained,crumbled shopping list
- 1 Cup green onion,sliced (with tops) shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Cream shopping list
- 1/4 Cup sour cream shopping list
- 3/4 Cup swiss cheese,grated shopping list
- Pinch of white pepper,salt,nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Cook potatoes and garlic together in saucepan until tender,drain and place back into pan.
- Cook the green onion in a little of the bacon grease,set aside.
- Using hand held potato masher(electric mixer,seems to make them gummy...anyway...for me,that is)
- Mash the garlic and potatoes with the cream,sour cream,until will blended.
- Stir in the swiss cheese pepper,salt,nutmeg.
- Note: I like fresh tomatoes,seeded,diced in mine.
- So come on all you Baby Boomers...get off your chair,and do...THE MASHED POTATO!
