The New Cardmakers Stamp Collection From Spellbinders

I have a couple of cards for you today from the new Cardmakers Stamp Collection at Spellbinders.  This is a new collection that released this month.

This cutie playing in the rain is from the new Cute Boots Stamp Set.  

I colored her in Copic markers, hand cut the tag shape and added the sentiment on a circle punched from a 1-1/4" Circle Punch.  The background is embossed with the large dot embossing folder that is no longer on the Spellbinders site, sorry, I didn't realize it was gone.

Another set in the Cardmakers Stamp Collection is this Hello Sunflower Stamp Set.

I colored this with Copic markers and used the Sweet Honeycomb Stencil to create a little bit of pattern in the background.

The sentiment is embossed in black.

Pretty Postage Cards

I love this Pretty Postage Stamp Set and had stamped and colored my envelopes when I came across Lisa Tilsons' cards on Instagram.  I loved the way she used the word dies and stamps to finish off her sentiments so I decided to copy her fun idea!

All of the flowers are colored with Copic Markers.  The word dies are cut in white cardstock and mounted on vellum cardstock.

If Only Sarcasm Burned Calories

I haven't played with my Little Letterboard Dies for a while, so I decide to pull them out and create a card using one of the letterboard quotes I have saved to my Pinterest Board. 

I decorated the corner of the letterboard with flowers from the Poppies stamps and dies. I haven't used those either in quite a while and I had forgotten how pretty they stamp.

For the tone on tone background, I cut several of the Fabulous Floral Layering Dies and adhered them to the cardstock base so it would have a little texture.

Sewn With Love New From Jaded Blossom

This month at Jaded Blossom, the new release is all about sewing, knitting and crocheting.  Fun sets if those are your hobbies or if you have crafty friends who enjoy those things.  

I don't know how to sew and have to look up a You Tube video to thread my machine every time I attempt to sew on cards, but I thought this Stitched With Love set was cute!

I used the new Stitched With Love stamp set for this card and the also new this month, the Square Internal Scallops Dies and Circle Internal Scallops Dies. 

 I decided to use these for a background texture rather than how they might traditionally be used.

Images are colored with Copic Markers.

If you have followed me for a while, you may remember waaaaaaay back in 2014 when first made these little 3 x 3 spool cards.  When I saw this Stitched With Love set, I knew I had to being back the spools!

I used the Gingham Gardens paper from My Minds Eye.

The DMC floss colors for the thread are: 3833 Peach, 352 Pink, 3816 Green and 3821 Yellow.

The buttons are from last month's Crafty Add Ons stamp set because I didn't have any real buttons to use.

Cup of Happy

I have something brand new to share with you today - Pigment Craft Company. 

I've been watching her for a while and loved her first release but when I saw the cups in the most recent release, I was done - ADD TO CART! *Ü*

 Pigment Craft Company is in Canada, so all of my Canadian readers will be happy to know there is a new company

I used the new Cup of Happy Stamps Set and Dies for these cards.  

They are lined up so precisely that it is nearly impossible to stamp them incorrectly.  Excellent engineering!

While I had everything out, I made a couple more cards.  I wanted to use all three sentiments that have dies.  I love the idea of stamping the entire sentiment but them having part of it die cut.

I haven't done a lot of stamping in color lately and I really, really enjoyed making these.  I bought a few other things as well, so I have lots of new stuff to play with.  Stay tuned!

I followed the design for this set from her Instagram page and stamped the flowers in a very light gray and they die cut them to use as a partial background.
