Crochet Candle Cozy

Another crochet project I forgot to blog about.  I bought some lovely chunky wool last year and made a hat for myself and an ear warmer. I still had some wool left over so decided to make a stylish candle cozy!

This was very simple to make, just a rectangle piece of crochet and a small flower attached.  I think it turned out quite well.

Acrylic City Scene Painting

I painted this last year and only just realised I didn't blog about it.  I know I showed a photo of it on my blog page in November but didn't make a blog post.  This is the first painting I did at the new art class I go to with my 2 young daughters.  I took inspiration from a similar city scene painting I came across in a magazine. The photo below shows my painting before it was framed next to the magazine cutout.

I don't think I had painted something since I was at school over 20 years ago!  I have only managed another painting since this one, hopefully I will share that with you in a later post.
