Spiderhead
Spiderhead is a futuristic psychological thriller set in a state-of-the-art penitentiary overseen by the enigmatic Steve Abnesti (Chris Hemsworth). Abnesti conducts emotion-altering drug experiments on the prison's inmates, promising them reduced sentences in exchange for their participation. The story thickens when inmate Jeff (Miles Teller), begins to question the morality of the experiments and his autonomy. As the film progresses, it investigates themes of free will, guilt, and the ethics of manipulation. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Spiderhead challenges viewers to ponder the limits of mind control and the principles of punishment and redemption.
