Martha Stewart, born Martha Helen Kostyra in 1941, is a household name in the realms of lifestyle, cooking, and business. This American entrepreneur, with Polish descent, was born and raised in New Jersey and demonstrated her entrepreneurial instincts from a young age. She started her career as a model to pay for her tuition fees at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she graduated with a double major in History and Architectural History.
