recent happenings

- Spring is here and a bird flew into our house. Josh said, "It's ok buhdy. It's ok," as it frantically flew into the kitchen window. Mike calmly picked it up and released it outside. I wouldn't have done that, but then the bird would probably still be in here if Mike wasn't around.

- In the last minute of the last game of the season I sprained my ankle. I just couldn't quite make it through the basketball season without injuring myself. Lame. Thanks to the incredible women around me, my boys were taken care of, cause how can you look after four busy boys when you can't really walk?

- Kyle headed the ball for the first goal of the soccer game last Saturday. It was awesome.

- We just bought tickets for the whole family to fly to the northwest in July so we can see both grandparents. My boys don't know a Grandma and Grandpa's house and that makes me sad, but it's our own fault we moved so far away from them. We're real excited to be in Washington and Oregon again.

- I ordered a bunch of pictures to display in my home. It's so great to finally have a few pictures on our walls.

- We just planned a trip to visit Tenley and Jake in Florida for spring break. Our trips down there are always so perfect.

- My craft area is almost complete and I'm absolutley loving it. If you need me, that's where I'll be.

whole lot of London

My last thoughts about our London trip:

-We saw so much so fast. I think I need to see it all over again.
-I wish I had more time to shop and more space in my suitcases to carry stuff home.
-I wish I had taken a picture of the beefeater (the tour guide at the Tower of London). He was so entertaining.
-That city is chalk full of history. Half the time I was in London I was pretending I lived back in the 1800's and I was really rich and I was wearing a really pretty dress with my hair up all beautiful. You know, like the movies. Wonder what it was really like back then.
-Best part of the trip was the company I was with. Love you guys!
- If pressed to pick my favorite things to visit, I'd have to say the National Gallery (amazing art), Tower of London (so intriguing), and St. Paul's Cathedral (awe-inspiring).
- I was really nervous to travel. Thank goodness I had Abbi (who's lived in London) and the rest of my fam with me to take care of me. I'm such a baby.
- Maybe next time I go back to England, I can visit the English countryside.
- I owe Mike big time.
