as Debby approaches...

Scattered Flood Warnings are in effect for Florida and southern
Georgia.

Flood Watches are in effect for portions of the western Florida
peninsula, the Florida Big Bend, North and Northeast Florida,
southern and central Georgia, and southeastern South Carolina.

At 1000 PM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated
bands of heavy rainfall moving across Florida and southern and
central Georgia. In addition to heavy rainfall, strong, gusty
winds were observed across the Florida peninsula, with the highest
gusts along the Florida Gulf Coast. Below are preliminary rainfall
and wind observations associated with Debby. For information
