We had a blast in Orange County. Here are some pictures of our adventures:























No new news on the scholarship. I am crossing my fingers tighter each day. Oakcrest training starts April 25th. I'm so so excited!

NUMB3RS!

So I had a thought today. Numbers consume our lives. Every day has to do with numbers. Even the date is a number. We memorized thousands of numbers. For example:

The number to Macaroni Grill is 293-9003.

The number of days until Oakcrest training starts is 44.

The number of hours it takes to get to Anaheim, CA is 11.

It is 12:17 am.

The number of days until Jourdan Smith comes home from his mission is 160.

The number of calories in a Slim Fast Chocolate Shake (one of my favorite breakfasts) is 190.

The most common pencil is a number 2.

I take 1 aspirin each day.


So many numbers. I wonder if our brains will ever get a break.

HOORAY!!

I would like to say that I am so incredibly lucky and blessed to be returning the Oakcrest! I have been called to be one of the Craft Specialists (the other is Zazzy aka Shannon Durr).


Oakcrest is a place where you can be crazy and have the best time of your life!! I love meeting new girls and getting close to the counselors and staff.


But my favorite, and the most important, part of Oakcrest is the gospel. I get to teach the campers every single week about the gospel. I get to share with them my testimony of this wonderful blessing in my life. I can tell them that I know with all of me that this is the true church. I can't wait for June 8 when the first week of campers arrives at Oakcrest!!


I start training at the end of April, so I will be quite busy this summer! I love it...I am thrilled to be returning.
