[Kenwood] TS-600 question

You are correct 
there needs to be a jumper in there between 2 pins 
Same thing happened to me when I got mine 20  years ago  
I don't have my manual anymore but I think I know who does have it 
But by that time I am sure someone will chime in 
using the rig is pretty much stright forward 
10 watts out on FM ,AM,  20 SSB & CW ? 
It will not work a repeater without you moving the band switch (and then
you need to operate a 1 Mhz split )
Very fond memories of this radio and thinking on buying it back cuz I
know it has not been turned on by the 
owner for at least 5 years
