from the Upper Ohio Valley and central Appalachians northeastward
through the Mid-Atlantic and southern New England...
Flash Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of southeastern
Pennsylvania, northeastern West Virginia, and the western Maryland
Panhandle.
Flood Warnings are in effect for portions of central West
Virginia, northern Virginia, central Maryland, south-central
Pennsylvania.
Flash Flood Watches are in effect for portions of the central
Appalachians, the Mid-Atlantic, and southern New England.

At 1000 AM EDT...Surface observations indicated the center of
Post-T.C. Ida was located in southern West Virginia. National
Weather Service Doppler RADAR detected widespread moderate to
heavy rainfall was occurring from the Upper Ohio Valley and
central Appalachians northeastward through the Mid-Atlantic and
into southern New England, mostly to the north and east of the low
center. Some lighter showers were also noted through the southern
Appalachians. Below are preliminary rainfall and wind observations
associated with Post-T.C. Ida. For more information regarding the
