For the latest rainfall forecast and Excessive Rainfall Outlooks
associated with Beryl, please refer to wpc.ncep.noaa.gov. Post
tropical cyclone Beryl will continue to bring the threat of gusty
winds and heavy rain to portions of Missouri, Illinois, Indiana
Michigan, northern New York and New England through the next
couple of days as it moves northeastward. Flash flooding will
continue to remain possible along and eastward of its path. A
general 2-4 inches of rain may fall in the path of post-tropical
cyclone Beryl. Moreover, some upper level dynamics and surface
vorticity will also pose a severe threat with any strong storms
centered over the lower Ohio and Mississippi Valleys capable of
becoming super cellular and producing a tornado or two according
to the Storm Prediction Center.Lastly, moist, southerly flow from
the Gulf of Mexico associated with Beryl's circulation ahead of a
cold front may produce some heavy rain in Louisiana. The Weather
Prediction Center has a slight risk of seeing flash flooding over
the southern Gulf Coast.

The next Storm Summary will be issued by the Weather Prediction
Center at 1000 PM CDT. Please refer to your local National Weather
Service office for additional information on this event.
