Bee Mine - Finish the Inside

Finish the Inside is the theme for our new challenge at Creative Knockouts!

We have a fabulous sponsor so make sure to upload your creation for your chance to win a special prize from Rachelle Anne Miller!

The image, Bee Mine was colored with Copic Markers and framed with fushia glitter paper. The background was created with Distress Oxide Inks (Fossilzed Amber and Rusty Hinge) sprayed with Gold Shimmer Spray.  Once dry, I used the Honeycomb Backdrop die cut.

For the inside I used the same Distress Oxide Inks and spray and another Honeycomb die using the same fushia glitter paper. The sentiment is computer generated.

Happy Pink, Red and White Day!

A new month brings a new challenge at Get Creative Challenges!

Our theme this month is Pink, Red and White - show us your creativity using those three colors in your creation!

We are a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will play along for your chance to proudly display our Winner or Top 3 Badges.

I created the background using Distress Oxide Inks (Lumberjack, Lipstick and Spun Sugar) and Sheery Shimmer spray and once dry.  I used my emobssing folder - backwards I might add but I used it anyways!  After mounting on white cardstock I used the Happy Love Day die cut, cutting out 3 layers of cardstock and the top layer in glitter paper.

XOXO Polar Bear

Christmas [or not] Bingo Challenges has a new challenge ready to go for you!

CBC will feature a new Bingo card for each challenge and while this isn't your typical game of BINGO, you are required to use at least three items in ONE column.

We are a "just for fun" challenge where you will have the chance to proudly display our Winner or Top Pick Badge!

My choice is the Column G: Valentine, red, free, gems, die-cuts

To create this card I used Love Hearts embossing folder by Bringing Crafts-Too you and XOXO die cut to create the background.  The polar bear is from the Polar Bear Pals stamp set by MFT, colored with Copic markers.  The gems were placed using the Imaginisce iRock tool.

So glad you stopped by and I look forward to seeing your creation!

Wintery Penguin Valentine

STENCILS / EMBOSSING FOLDERS is the theme for our February challenge at Christmas Craft Creations!

Our challenge will run until March 12th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize.

Yes, we are a Christmas challenge and I may have stretched things a bit with my wintery Valentines Day card!
I started with embossing the first layer using Stitched Snowflake Backdrop by Lawn Fawn and used Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks to create the pinky glow background.  Created some snow drifts, clouds and a skating area with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink - I used the same ink for the sentiment using Scripty Mine and the Winter Penguin stamp by Lawn Fawn.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to jump over to CCC and check out the fabulous creations by our Design Team.

Please remember to add our challenge badge (above) to your post for your chance to win!

I Heart U

A new month brings a new challenge at Get Creative Challenges!

Our theme this month is HEARTS Show us your creativity using some kind of heart(s) in your creation!  You will have until March 1st to link up.

We have moved to a JUST FOR FUN challenge and I hope you will continue to play along so you have a chance to proudly display our Winners Badge or Top 3 Badge.

I decided to put the snippets to good use to create my card, goodness knows we all have so many scraps just hanging out, waiting to be used.  The heart was created using my Cricut Joy and I heat embossed the sentiment (Simply Celebrate Hearts, Lawn Fawn) with white embossing powder.

Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure you hop over to Get Creative Challenges for some inspiration from our fabulous Design Team!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR / VALENTINES is the theme for our new challenge at Creative Knockouts!

Our challenge will run until February 15th so make sure to upload your creation by then for your chance to win a special prize from our fabulous sponsor The Paper Shelter!

This is one of the images from the Funny Giraffes collection.

After coloring the image with Copic markers, I found the background paper from the Love Story collection by Fancy Pants Designs which I've been holding on to for a very long time!

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed with white powder, finished it off with some ribbon and a heart embellie.

Nobody puts Baby in the Corner

It's time for another fab challenge at Creative Knockouts!  Our theme for this challenge is Love/Valentines and our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter.

Now, is there anything else that shows love as much as Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey? The movie Dirty Dancing happens to be one of my all time faves and was so excited to play with this image The Time of my Life. And yes, "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" is such a classic line.

In the final scene, Johnny dressed in his "bad boy" black and Baby in a pretty pink dress so naturally I had to use the same colors.  I think I may just have to watch this movie again, I've watched it so many times no one else will watch it with me because I can cite all the lines!
