Vintage Millinery Fruit

We have a large selection of vintage and current handmade spun cotton and lacquered millinery fruit from Germany and Japan. These are for more than just hats - you can make candle rings, della robia wreaths, Christmas tree garlands, intersperse them in bouquets, add to Easter baskets - lots of projects!
They all have stems, which makes them easy to attach baskets, bouquets and wreaths.
This is a just a sample of what we have.
You can see the rest on our website or in our Etsy store.

Vintage Mercury Glass Beads From The Czech Republic

German papers aren't the only things new to the shop! We've received lots of new colors and styles of hand made mercury glass Christmas garland beads from the Czech Republic. These beads are blown into 100 year old molds and the same techniques for silvering and coloring are still used to make these.
Nothing adds Victorian charm to your Christmas tree like a hand strung mercury glass bead garland! You can see all the shapes, sizes and colors of beads we offer on our website or in our Etsy shop, accessible on the sidebar to the right. Have questions? We'd love to hear from you!
Below, a mix of traditional colored beads in specialty shapes.
And a group of brightly colored drop beads.
And round beads in three sizes...
Fancy silver beads... always a favorite!
We're also stocking a selection of bumped beads, bumped sticks, tube beads and caps for finishing garlands and ornaments.

Just in from Europe: New Blown Glass Beads

We've just received several new styles of blown glass beads and have them listed HERE in our Etsy shop.  Apart from new shapes, we're also stocking pretty new colors like aqua, deep teal, light pink, hot pink and even black.  I'm partial to the acorn beads in matte green and shiny brown and the bell shapes, shown below.

Have you started crafting for Christmas yet? I have ideas swirling around but haven't actually started working on anything yet.  I get both nervous and  excited to think that Christmas is less than 4 months away!
