Vauxhall Corsa 1.4
This is the all-new Corsa, a car Vauxhall vows will banish the Corsa's traditional reputation of being pretty but underwhelming.
It's longer and wider than today's car and weighs a little more, but some models cost a little less and in 200bhp, turbocharged VXR trim it will be the fastest Corsa ever. The Corsa has a funky new cabin with more room and a bigger boot, and Vauxhall predicts the hatchback will score a maximum five stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests.
British design chief Mark Adams led the team behind the new Corsa. Gone is the so upright it-might-topple-over look, replaced by a far more squat, muscular car that has a great stance, particularly in three-door form.

Nissan Forum Concept
The Nissan Forum, an exploratory design concept developed by Nissan Design America, Inc. (NDA), represents the next revolution in family transportation.
Answering the challenge of making family passenger vehicles more appealing to both drivers and passengers, Forum offers a wide array of innovative ideas – from its trackless sliding side doors and elimination of traditional B-pillars, to an interior featuring a multi-position swiveling 2 nd row seat and next-generation entertainment and family communications technology. Forum makes its world auto show debut at the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January.
Research shows that the primary driver of family car often changes depending on the day of the week and family schedules. During the week, Forum’s primary driver might be a mom, picking up the kids at school, dropping them off at practices or lessons – so we’ve incorporated advanced communications systems such as rear seat camera monitoring cameras and audio controls.

Renault Clio 197
It's only the most eagerly anticipated hot hatch of the year. Successor to the 182, the Clio 197 is the first of the small fast Renaults to use the new, third generation Clio platform. It's bigger and heavier but more powerful too.
The wings are flared to cover a track widened by 48mm at the front and 50mm at the back. There's an additional duct for cooling air in the front wings, as well as new front and rear bumpers, side skirts and grilles, heavily bolstered seats, aluminium suspension components and a Brembo brake set-up pinched from the Megane 225.

VW Golf VI GTD
As the new GTI hits the road for the first time its sister car has been unveiled at the Leipzig Motor Show: the new diesel-powered Golf GTD.
Powering the new GTD is a refined 2.0-litre (1,968 cc) common rail TDI engine, producing 170 PS and 258 lbs ft of torque. Driving through a six-speed manual or automatic DSG gearbox, this translates to effortless performance with CO 2 emissions of just 139 g/km.
Maintaining the sharp responses expected of the GTD is suspension lowered by 15 mm when compared to the standard Golf. In addition, Volkswagen's innovative Adaptive Chassis Control system (ACC), featuring pneumatically controlled damper units, can be specified on the GTD.
The Golf GTD's appearance will differ significantly from that of the standard Golf's. Inside, the main contact points are unique to the Golf GTD – a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a GTD gearshift and a standard tartan interior. The tartan finish is subtly different from that in the GTI, being grey, white and black, rather than red, white and black.
