Anyone who grew up in the '90s and went to church knew about Steven Curtis Chapman's music. His albums have touched so many people through the years and continue to do so. If you haven't heard already, he and his wife lost their 5 year old daughter yesterday in a tragic accident so as you pray today, remember this family who has ministered to millions of people, that they would know God's comfort during this horrible time.

So totally weird--but if you think of it maybe ask God to help me?

My beautiful platinum wedding band is STUCK on my finger. It appears I've had some kind of allergic reaction to maybe my dish soap (Palmolive with bleach alternative). I have a bad habit of filling a large soap dispenser at my kitchen sink with dish soap and I use that to wash my hands all day. It's no wonder they crack open and bleed. Anyway, my finger is so itchy, painful and swollen I can't get my ring off so could you pray that I could?? It's so weird and being pregnant I wonder if I have some kind of strange tropical finger disease...

Thanks.

Delight

It's a command I can't seem to keep. Suggestions?

He had a total hip replacement and so far, things took good. He's in a lot of pain, but he had no blood clots, which was the main concern.

What a relief!!!

Hubby's taking what we call "my precious" (remember Gollum from Lord of the Rings?) to the nearby city where a church member is having a life-threatening surgery. Please pray for the man having this surgery, whose name is Jim.

As I was saying, we tend to fight for the right to the MacBook and he's taking it today! So no checking blogs for me today, no posting...but that's OK I guess because maybe I'll actually get some housework done. Especially because instead of going to see family and driving for a total of 6 days, we're going here:

Check this out! We're camping for a few days, then as a reward for my longsuffering at the campground, going to a two bedroom suite with a kitchen and satellite TV!

If you've checked my blog lately, you'll know things have been difficult, so once we made the choice not to take sweet baby girl back to see family (not an easy decision), I feel like I actually have something to look forward to!

The planning begins!

I can't believe that in the course of one weekend, I would receive news that another friend, this one young, single, and with three children, has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be having a double mastectomy soon.

We are awaiting news of our other friend, who has her appointment with the surgeon today, to see what her prognosis is.

Lord Jesus COME! I'm not sure I can take any more suffering--I long for You to make all things right again!!!

One of my friends was just diagnosed today with breast cancer. If you think of it, please pray.

Hubby gets back late, late tonight. That is, if his plane runs on time, doesn't crash, and he doesn't hit an elk on the drive home over the mountain pass at night...

Well, my precious middle child is complaining again of tummy trouble. Just a month ago he had five days of intense illness: nonstop throwing up, step throat, fever all in the same week! Now, he's not eaten his breakfast, wants to lay around all day and is holding is tummy. I've got him on the floor in front of his favorite video, I Love Toy Trains, with a bucket. Please pray that I can take care of him, the new baby, my oldest son whose rather high maintenance, and not lose my sanity. My anxiety level is shooting through the roof right now! I know I'm such a baby...*sigh*

I've got three of the most important people in my life traveling today: my folks are coming from back East to visit for a week and my hubby is driving two hours over a mountain pass for a church member's surgery. I'm such a worrywart--so pray with me for safe travels. Then hubby leaves next week for the Basics Conference at Parkside Church in Cleveland.

A precious little boy in our church has Cerebral Palsy and is having surgery today. My husband has gone to the hospital to be with his family. Please pray for Josh and his mom and dad. Hopefully, this surgery will help him walk better, but it's always scary when your little one is operated upon.
