Gone Fishing!

WOYWW0203

I have n't really ... gone fishing ... I mean!

But I am out all day and absolutely hate the thought of all my fellow WOYWWers carrying on without me! So I have indeed taken a picture of my desk at 5am and blogged it ... so as not to miss out :0)

As you can see my desk has been obscured by a neatly packed bag ... well neat in the loosest terms ...purple dreams

Of course I have n't actually got time to nip over to Julia's to post a link ... and indeed the lovely Julia will probably still be sleeping ... so none of you may come visit ... but if you do ... perhaps you will post a link to this post by proxy :0)

I promise to come visit you all later when I return home :0)

As my bag is sadly lacking in excitement and it is quite hard to actually work out what is in it ... I thought I would pretty up this post a bit with a web extra. I am very excited that I have my very first web extra on the Craft Stamper website ... instructions and product can be found here ... and if you wanna see more then the magazine is on sale later this week :0)

See ya's!

Hot Off The Press!

RosesaI am sooooooo excited! I have been published! In the October 09 edition of Craft Stamper! There is a whole page dedicated to ... get this ... Linda Elbourne ... Designer!

Woo Hoo! I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am! I can't show you what I made ... I think that may be illegal or something ... you will just have to buy the magazine and look :0)

Well worth it - some of the other articles this month are gob smackingly good!Rosesb

I have also been busy making more grunge roses and I promise to stop blogging them ... erm ... after this lot!

It is just that I made these this morning and rather liked them. I have to send them off today ... so I took a picture and thought I would  share!

All stamps used are Wendy Vecchi, also grunge paper coloured with distress inks and distress stickles.

I will leave you in peace and try and make something that is n't ... erm ... a rose!

The Inspiration Station!

Crafty individuals I am soooo excited today!

My work has been featured at the home of the Bind it all for September in the Zutter Inspiration station.

It is a CD book I made for Andrea earlier this year and I am soooo excited that they thought it worthy of display in their illustrious gallery!

I came into my craft room to craft and now I am all over the place ... in a good way!

Published on tinternet!

Crafty individuals

This is one of those moments, when you are just soooooo excited that you just can't keep something to yourself.

Regular visitors to my blog will be thinking - I have seen it all before.

They would be right, this is the CD book I made for Andrea's birthday back in February. Crafty individuals 1

There is a big difference in the photographic quality though - because these pictures were taken by Malcolm from Crafty Individuals! And that is the precise reason I am so excited.

My work has been included on the Crafty individuals gallery!

Back in the day when I started crafting I used to dribble over the work in their gallery and I never dreamed a piece of my work would ever be up to a standard where it may appear. This is my moment and if you have n't got the impression that I am chuffed, excited, deliriously happy by now - well trust me .... I am!

A BIG Thank you to Crafty Individuals for making me so happy and a BIG Thank you to Andrea for taking the time and trouble to post it to them .... You have truly made my day!

I am sooooooo excited. I have been sending in ATCs to Craft Stamper for what seems like forever in the hopes that I would become a published artist! Please note that was typed with my tongue placed firmly in my cheek!
Well today was the day. I have received my subscription copy and one of my ATCs is in there! Success! It is not one of my best ..... But Who's complaining?
My lovely friends on http://www.craftswap.co.uk/ have been congratulating me all morning.
